When I first brought Platinum home, those glides were short and uncertain, more like tiny hops than real flights. But today, something changed. With confidence shining in those big black eyes, Platinum spread his soft membrane and took off—so gracefully, so free! It was a moment worth cheering for.
Sugar gliders may be small, but their ability to glide is truly amazing. In the wild, they can soar between trees, covering distances of up to 50 feet. For a pet sugar glider like Platinum, learning to glide safely indoors is a process that takes time, patience, and trust. At first, he was nervous, clinging tightly to my hand and refusing to jump.
