The poor mother monkey was not satisfied with her baby and threw the baby monkey out.

It was a heartbreaking morning deep inside the forest. A young mother monkey had just given birth to her tiny baby, but something seemed terribly wrong. Instead of showing love and care, the mother looked at her newborn with confusion and rejection. She sniffed the baby, then turned away again and again, clearly unhappy. The little one tried to reach out to her, weakly crying and trembling, hoping for warmth and comfort, but the mother refused to hold or feed it.

After a few moments of hesitation, the mother monkey suddenly pushed her baby aside and even threw the helpless newborn away from her arms. The baby fell softly on the leaves, whimpering and shaking in pain and fear. The sight was truly painful to witness. This tiny creature, just born into the world, already faced rejection from the one who should have loved it most.

Nearby monkeys looked curiously but didn’t intervene. In nature, such moments can happen when a mother senses weakness or sickness in her baby. Sometimes she doesn’t understand how to care for her first child, or the pressure of the group makes her act aggressively. Whatever the reason, the poor baby monkey’s cries echoed through the forest, calling for love that wasn’t coming.

Thankfully, a caretaker who often watched over the monkeys noticed the distress. With a gentle heart, the person came closer, picked up the frightened baby, and wrapped it in a soft cloth. The little monkey slowly stopped crying, finally feeling safe and warm again.

Even though its own mother rejected it, there was still hope. Under human care, the baby could recover, grow strong, and maybe one day be accepted by another gentle mother monkey. This story reminds us that every small life deserves kindness and compassion — no matter how tiny or unwanted it may seem.
