She Said NO… I Had to Beg 😭 – Baby Monkey Cici
Today, Baby Monkey Cici was in one of her stubborn moods. I gently approached her with a little task — something simple, like helping with a small bath or picking up her toy — but she had other plans. She looked at me with those big round eyes and, without a moment’s hesitation, gave me the tiniest, most dramatic “no” I’ve ever seen.
I paused, thinking maybe she’d change her mind. But nope. Her little arms crossed, her tiny tail curled tightly, and she shook her head like a tiny furball of pure determination. That “no” was loud and clear — there was no negotiation possible… at least at first.
I tried coaxing her. “Cici, come on, it’ll be fun!” I said softly, smiling.
She blinked slowly, then squeaked in response — clearly a firm refusal.
So, I had to beg.
I knelt down, making my voice extra gentle and playful. I held out my hands and whispered, “Please, Cici… just for a little bit?”
Her little head tilted. She paused for just a moment. I could see her thinking. Her big eyes narrowed slightly, testing me. Then… she shook her head again. NO. Not yet.
I begged a little more, with extra baby-talk and soft pats on her tiny back. She watched closely, ears twitching, like she was considering my offer. Another soft squeak escaped her, half “maybe” and half “you still have to convince me.”
Finally, after a few more moments of gentle pleading, she relented. One tiny hand reached out toward me. Her little body moved slowly, cautiously, but it was progress. She was letting me in — just a little.
Once she agreed, her little face lit up, and she seemed proud of herself for having held her ground. She had said no… she had been stubborn… but she had also trusted me enough to eventually say yes.
That’s Baby Monkey Cici for you — tiny, fierce, and full of personality.
She said NO… I had to beg 😭🐒💛
