It was such a sweet and peaceful moment. Baby Monkey Luci was sitting comfortably in Cici’s lap, gently playing with Cici’s fingers. She looked calm, relaxed, and completely innocent. Her tiny hands were moving softly, and her eyes were half-closed like she was enjoying a quiet cuddle.
Everything felt perfect.
Then… Cici felt something warm.
She slowly looked down.
Oh no.
Luci had peed.
For a split second, Luci didn’t realize what happened. She kept playing like nothing was wrong. But the moment Cici gently said her name, Luci paused. Her tiny hands froze mid-air. She blinked once… twice… and then looked up.
That’s when the “sorry” face appeared.
Her big round eyes opened wide, shining with pure innocence. Her mouth closed tightly, and her little eyebrows lifted just enough to say, “Was that me?” She tilted her head slightly, as if she was trying to understand the situation.
It was the cutest guilty expression ever.
She didn’t cry. She didn’t run. She just stared at Cici with those soft, apologetic eyes. Slowly, she reached out one tiny hand and placed it gently on Cici’s arm — almost like she was saying, “I didn’t mean to… please don’t be mad.”
When Cici looked at the wet spot, Luci quickly glanced down too — then immediately looked away. She pretended to be very interested in something else in the room. Maybe if she didn’t make eye contact, the problem would magically disappear.

Cici couldn’t help but smile. How could anyone be upset with that expression? Luci’s embarrassment was so pure and honest. She slowly leaned forward and buried her face into Cici’s chest, hiding like a shy baby.
After being cleaned up, Luci became extra clingy. She wrapped her tiny arms tightly around Cici’s neck and refused to let go. It was her way of making sure everything was still okay. Her body relaxed once she felt safe again.
Accidents happen — especially when you’re a playful baby monkey who forgets everything while cuddling.
