No Long Baths… She Protests – Baby Monkey Cici
Bath time has always been a sensitive topic for Baby Monkey Luci, but lately she has made one thing very clear — no long baths!
The moment Cici starts preparing the water, Luci becomes suspicious. She watches every movement carefully. The sound of running water? Side-eye. The towel placed nearby? Immediate concern. The shampoo bottle? Absolute betrayal.
At first, she pretends not to notice. She keeps playing, acting like she’s too busy to understand what’s happening. But deep down, she knows.
When Cici gently says, “Bath time,” Luci turns slowly with the most dramatic expression. Her big round eyes widen, and her tiny mouth opens in a soft gasp. She lets out a small protesting sound, like she’s saying, “Again? Didn’t we just do this yesterday?”
As soon as she’s picked up, the complaints begin.
It’s not loud crying right away — it’s more like a series of tiny speeches. She chatters and whines, explaining why today should definitely not include a long bath. Maybe a quick rinse. Maybe just wipe her hands. But sitting in water for too long? Absolutely not.
When her little feet touch the warm water, she stiffens. She tests it carefully, dipping one toe in like she’s negotiating terms. If Cici starts washing too slowly, Luci immediately raises her voice in protest.
“Eh! Eh! Eh!”
Her tiny hands splash slightly, not to play — but to express her opinion. She looks up at Cici with furrowed brows, clearly saying, “Speed it up, please!”
The funniest part is when she thinks the bath is finished. The moment Cici reaches for the towel, Luci’s mood instantly improves. She straightens up and cooperates sweetly, as if she has won the battle. But if Cici says, “Wait, not yet,” the dramatic protests return in full force.
She turns her head away. She grips the edge of the tub. She makes those adorable complaining sounds that sound like serious arguments in baby monkey language.
However, even with all the protesting, Luci secretly enjoys parts of it. When warm water is poured gently over her back, she relaxes for just a second. When Cici softly rubs her head, she closes her eyes briefly.
But she would never admit that.
For Luci, baths are acceptable — just not long ones. She believes strongly in quick service and immediate towel wrapping.
And once she’s finally dry and fluffy, she acts like nothing happened. Running around happily again… until the next time she hears the water running.
Because one thing is certain: Baby Monkey Luci will always protest long baths.
