Bath time is never Baby Monkey Luci’s favorite moment… but what comes after? That’s a completely different story. 🐒😅
Today, after a warm and bubbly bath, Luci sat very still while the last drops of water rolled down her tiny arms. Her fur was flat and wet, making her look smaller than usual. She blinked slowly, still deciding whether bath time had been good or bad.
Then Mom reached for the towel.
The second Luci saw that big, fluffy towel coming toward her, her eyes widened. She remembered this part. The towel meant rubbing. And rubbing meant chaos!
As soon as she was wrapped up, Luci wiggled like a tiny fish. The towel covered her head, and for a moment she disappeared completely. A small lump of moving fluff rolled around in Mom’s arms. Suddenly, a little hand popped out from one side. Then her face peeked out from the top, eyes bright and playful.
Mom gently rubbed her fur dry, and that’s when Luci’s funny reaction began.
She kicked her tiny legs.
She twisted left and right.
She made soft squeaky protest sounds—but they didn’t sound very serious.
In fact, she almost looked like she was laughing!
Every time the towel rubbed her tummy, she scrunched her face and grabbed the fabric with both hands, trying to “fight” it. When Mom rubbed her head, Luci shook it dramatically, spraying tiny water droplets everywhere. It became a mini water show in the bathroom.
At one point, she completely flipped herself inside the towel like a little burrito. Only her nose was visible. She stayed still for two seconds… then suddenly burst out, surprising Mom with a playful bounce.
The towel wasn’t just for drying anymore—it was her new toy.
When most of the water was gone, Mom placed Luci gently on the floor while still wrapped up. Luci waddled around like a fluffy marshmallow, trying to walk but getting tangled in the towel. She fell onto her bottom and looked shocked for a second… then clapped her hands happily.
Finally, when the towel came off, Luci shook her whole body with full energy. Her fur fluffed up beautifully, soft and shiny again. She looked proud, clean, and full of life.
Bath time might be dramatic…
