Poor Baby TanTan cried softly, his small body trembling as he looked around again and again, trying to find his mom. Tears slipped down his cheeks, leaving wet marks on his fur. The world felt too big and confusing without her. Every shadow and sound made his heart beat faster. He called out in a weak, shaking voice, hoping she would hear him.
He took a few slow steps, then stopped, unsure which way to go. “Mama…” he cried, stretching his little arms forward. No one answered right away. Baby TanTan’s lips quivered, and his crying grew louder. He felt scared, lonely, and very small. All he wanted was his mom’s warm hug and gentle touch.
Baby TanTan sat down near a tree, hugging his knees close to his chest. He rubbed his eyes, but the tears would not stop. Leaves fell softly around him, and the wind brushed past his ears, but nothing felt comforting. He looked behind the tree, then turned back again, his eyes full of hope that she might suddenly appear. But she did not.
His cries slowly turned into quiet sobs. He felt tired from being scared. His shoulders shook with each breath. Just then, a familiar sound reached him—a soft voice calling his name. Baby TanTan froze. His ears lifted. His heart jumped. He cried out again, louder this time, putting all his hope into his voice.
Mom heard him and hurried toward the sound. When she saw her baby sitting there, crying alone, her eyes filled with worry and love. She rushed forward and picked him up without a second thought. Baby TanTan grabbed onto her tightly, pressing his face into her chest. His crying slowly faded, replaced by small sniffles.
Mom held him close, rocking gently. She wiped his tears and stroked his head, whispering calm words. Baby TanTan felt safe again. His breathing slowed, and his body relaxed. The fear that had filled his heart disappeared in her arms.
Soon, Baby TanTan rested quietly, still holding onto Mom. Poor Baby TanTan was no longer lost or scared. In that warm embrace, he found comfort, love, and peace—the place he belonged most. 🐒💛
